Cookies and site storage

This page describes the cookies and similar browser storage used by ClickSyrup's own website code.

What the site's code uses

ClickSyrup's pages do not set cookies and do not use local storage, session storage or similar browser storage. The language edition is part of the web address, the design has one fixed theme and site search runs in your browser without saving your searches. The site has no analytics, advertising technology, tracking pixels, embedded third-party media or reader accounts.

Because nothing optional is stored, there is no cookie banner or preference control. Showing one would suggest a choice that does not exist.

The hosting service

The infrastructure that delivers the website can, in some configurations, add technical cookies of its own, for example for security or protection against abusive traffic. That depends on the hosting setup rather than on the site's code. If the live setup adds such a cookie, this page will describe it.

Links and your browser

Following a link to another website takes you to a service with its own cookie practices. Your browser settings let you view and delete cookies and site data at any time.

Changes to this page

If ClickSyrup later adds analytics, advertising, embedded media or another technology that stores or reads information on your device, this page will be updated first and, where required, a real choice will be offered before that technology is used.
